Arlington Heights, Ill., October 1, 2020 – The Academy of Osseointegration (AO) announces a brand new series of live, virtual Corporate Forums, bringing one of its hallmark annual educational opportunities directly online to members and the global implant dentistry community.
The first session, sponsored by BioHorizons, will be held October 8 featuring Michael S. Block, DMD. During “Augmentation of the Alveolar Ridge: Use of Patient Growth Factors and Binders to Enhance Graft Success,” Dr. Block will provide an evidence-based presentation showing practical solutions for problems related to bone deficiency, including the use of L-PRF. Live Q&A will follow, a feature that has made these forums, normally held at the Academy’s Annual Meetings, so popular.
Then in the second of two AO Corporate Forums sponsored by BioHorizons, Michael A. Pikos, DDS, will present “Full Arch Immediate Implant Reconstruction with Photogrammetry” on October 28. This presentation will focus on the application of photogrammetry technology with full arch immediate implant reconstruction procedures. A complete workflow will be featured with customized protocols. This session will also include live Q&A with Dr. Pikos.
The Academy’s Corporate Forums are complimentary for members and non-members, however, attendees must register:

Watch for more virtual Corporate Forums to be announced. These sessions offer a unique and significant opportunity to view the latest research and developments in the field of craniofacial implant technology. Topics and presenters are selected by the participating companies without any input from the Academy.
The Academy’s Corporate Forums are being offered during a time when its online educational program has considerably expanded. To date, more than 4,800 registrants have attended 27 live webinars, already more than twice as many than the Academy normally offers in a given year. This comprehensive program continues to attract attention with new topics planned for the rest of the year.
