The Osseointegration Foundation is now accepting applications for the 2020-2021 AO/OF Research Grant.
This year, two research grant awards (one basic science and one applied science) will be awarded. Grants in the amount of $30,000 will be given to the Best Basic Science and Best Applied Science proposals as determined by the AO/OF Research Grant Committee.
The deadline for the Research Grant application is Friday, January 31, 2020.
These Grants are awarded annually to individuals who are a:
1) member of the Academy of Osseointegration (AO) or,
2) faculty member or student who conducts the research in any academic dental institution (at least one of the team members must be a member of AO).
Applications from all countries will be accepted.
The first-place awardees will be required to present the results of the investigation at the 2021 Annual Meeting of the Academy of Osseointgration (AO) in Orlando, FL, March 11-13, as well as submit a manuscript based on the Osseointegration Foundation Research Grant to the International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Implants (JOMI) – no later than December 31, 2021.
This grant is funded by the Osseointegration Foundation (OF) and administered through the AO to support clinical and basic scientific investigation in the field of dental implants.
