Ultradent Donates 12,000 Disposable Face Masks to University of Utah Health
Ultradent Products, Inc., is donating 12,000 disposable face masks to University of Utah Health. The donation of disposable facemasks will help mitigate the shortage of personal protective equipment (PPE) for front line professionals battling the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We’re all deeply indebted to the medical professionals saving lives and reducing suffering caused by this pandemic,” says Ultradent President, Dirk Jeffs. “The work being done both in Utah and around the world is admirable. We’re hoping these masks will help our Utah neighbors in their fight against this virus.”
The Utah Coronavirus Task Force (along with multiple state legislators) issued a request for businesses to donate PPE including disposable face masks.
“From the bottom of our hearts, the University of Utah Health team expresses our deep appreciation for the generous outpouring from community members as they find ways to support and protect our health care workers during the COVID-19 pandemic,” says University of Utah Health’s Executive Director of Network Development and Telehealth, Tad Morley. “We are especially thankful for the generosity of local businesses, which give even while many are suffering themselves during this time. Ultradent Products Inc.’s donation of 12,000 disposable face masks will give U of U Health care workers the protection they need while they work to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.”
