Neodent implant library now available in coDiagnostiX Guided Surgery planning software from Dental Wings

Curitiba/Montreal, June 17, 2014 – Neodent, Latin America’s leading dental implant company, announced today that its proven dental implant system will become available in the coDiagnostiX Guided Surgery planning software from Dental Wings.

The two companies have worked together to integrate the Neodent library into the coDiagnostiX application. This sophisticated and user-friendly software contains an extensive library of implant, abutment and sleeve systems from many major implant manufacturers. The unique digital workflow within coDiagnostiX allows users to design digital drill guides and output design data for 3D printing or milling.

Neodent specializes in the design, development, and manufacture of dental implants and related prosthetic components. For more than 20 years, it has built a reputation for delivering excellence and innovation. This offering in combination with the excellent benefits delivered by the coDiagnostiX planning software will enable Neodent customers to have a powerful solution when it comes to guided surgery treatments.

The coDiagnostiX software is available in Europe and North America and the company has already taken action to make the software available in Latin America.

Matthias Schupp, Executive VP Sales and Marketing of Neodent, noted: “Our proven system has earned the trust of more than 30,000 clinicians and we have sold well over five million implants worldwide. We believe our proven, versatile and complete system is a very important add-on to the coDiagnostiX software given our focused approach to digital dentistry.”

Frank Stockmann, VP Guided Surgery at Dental Wings, said: “We are pleased that one of the most rapidly expanding implant companies in the world is now available with our coDiagnostiX planning software. We are confident that Neodent customers will enjoy the benefits of a sophisticated and user-friendly guided surgery solution.”

About Neodent

Founded in 1993 as JJGC Indústria e Comércio de Materiais Dentários S/A, Neodent was the first Brazilian company in the implant sector to receive certification from the Ministry of Health.

After rapid expansion, the company opened its own premises in Curitiba in 1998, where its headquarters and a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility are located. Neodent employs more than 900 employees, operates more than 10 branches in Brazil and works with a wide network of distributors positioning the company as the market leader in the LATAM region.

Neodent also has subsidiaries in USA, Spain, Portugal and Mexico and distributors in other geographies targeting the non-premium segment in these markets. It places considerable importance on education and training with the aim of ensuring quality treatment standards and patient care. It does this through the ILAPEO (The Latin American Institute of Dental Research and Education), one of the largest dedicated implant training centers in the world, offering courses to thousands of participants from all over the world each year.

Over the past ten years the company has expanded rapidly in Latin America and Southern Europe and is the market leader in Brazil, the world’s largest market- in number of implants sold. This success has been achieved through a philosophy of making tested and cutting edge implant solutions more affordable to a broader population.
