DGSHAPE DWX-42W Mill Now a Trusted Connection with 3Shape TRIOS Design Studio
3Shape’s open ecosystem of integrated inhouse manufacturing options keeps growing
Copenhagen, September 5, 2019 – 3Shape qualifies the DGSHAPE DWX-42W mill as a Trusted Connection device for its single visit restorative design solution, TRIOS Design Studio.
As a Trusted Connection, the integration enables the DGSHAPE DWX-42W mill to nest the CAD block in 3Shape TRIOS Design Studio to create a smooth and predictable milling process.
With the DGSHAPE DWX-42W addition, this is now the third DGSHAPE mill to be designated as a 3Shape Trusted Connection. It joins the series of new generation mills now seamlessly integrated with TRIOS Design Studio.
South Korean Doctor, Dr. Jae-Min Lee, tested the DWX-42W and TRIOS Design Studio trusted connection. Saying, “I’ve never experienced this level of success on single visit prosthetic cases. For me, e.Max crown cases were the easiest and small inlay restorations with Empress were done without any chipping issues. e.Max onlays were designed and milled flawlessly.”
3Shape TRIOS Design Studio enables dental professionals to Go Beyond Scanning with same-day designing and milling of crowns, inlay/onlays, bridges, veneers, and screw-retained crowns* right in the practice. The workflow provides step-by-step guided workflows that take advantage of AI technology for efficient restorative design as well as 3Shape’s more than ten years of expertise in developing industry-leading CAD-CAM restorative design software for dental labs.
Daniel Satori, DGSHAPE Marketing Manager, adds “we are very happy to partner with a first-class solution like TRIOS Design Studio and we pride ourselves in being a market pioneer for the ‘Open System” CAD/CAM dental solution. Becoming a Trusted Connection partner gives dental professionals even more options to pursue high quality restorations and better patient outcomes.”
3Shape Product Director for Implantology and TRIOS Design Studio, Birk Ploenning, adds, “As an open ecosystem, 3Shape is always looking to integrate more choices of materials, manufacturing and treatment opportunities for professionals. DGSHAPE’s DWX-42W mill paired with our TRIOS Design Studio creates an affordable and predictable open workflow for dental practices and in-office laboratories planning to offer same-day and next-day dentistry to their patients.”
The DGSHAPE DWX-42W mill offers single touch operation, holds up to three CAD/CAM blocks at once, and offers multiple tooling options to allow dental professionals the ability to offer their patients short milling times and premium esthetics.
