Academy of Osseointegration expands April webinar series to include presenters scheduled for 2020 Annual Meeting

Arlington Heights, Ill. – The Academy of Osseointegration (AO) has expanded its comprehensive live webinar series this month to include accomplished expert presenters originally scheduled on the program of its 2020 Annual Meeting.  There are now seven webinar opportunities available from the Academy during April alone. Recordings will be also be available.

In the first of this two-part live webinar series, Dr. Lemke reviews the basic science of virology and COVID-19 in particular, examine pandemics throughout history and how they can shed light on our present and future. He also explores the impact of politics, social dynamics, geography, economics and ethics on the practice of oral surgery. Part II of this series will be held as a live webinar on April 15. April 9: “Why Digital?”

There is a significant need of understanding how dentistry is changing. During this presentation, Christian Coachman, DDS, CDT will discuss the risks of not changing and the strategies to implement change. Participants should be able to identify the risk factors of not upgrading their practice to a digital platform, explain how dentistry is changing digitally, and list ways to upgrade to a digital environment.

 

* Each of the above webinars are certified for 1.0 ADA-CERP credit hour and will be recorded. ADA CERP credit is available for 90 days following each live webinar or posted course. After 90 days, each webinar will be archived and no CE credit will be available.
