WHAT: OCO Biomedical, Inc. has announced the addition of New Orleans to the OCO 2014 Professional Implantology Education schedule and will present Dental Implants: Level One, An Introduction to Implant Dentistry offered on Friday,
September 12, 2014 from 8 am – 5 pm at the New Orleans Marriott, 555 Canal Street, New Orleans, 70130.
OCO’s accelerated, one-day, hands-on course features industry-recognized speaker Charles Schlesinger, DDS, FICOI and OCO Biomedical Chief Operating Officer and Director of Education and Clinical Affairs. Dr. Schlesinger will be available for one-on-one consultation and mentoring by appointment, as schedules permit.
Course Description: Level One (Introductory) :
A one-day course focused on OCO Biomedical Dual Stabilization™ Dental Implants and Osseous Fixation.™ This course features presentations and hands-on training for both placement and restoration of small diameter and conventional diameter implants. Participants will receive 7 AGD-Pace CE Credits upon completion. This course includes continental breakfast, lunch.
Course Goals: From this course, each participant will be prepared to:
- Treatment planning and case selection
- Be familiar with immediate and early load scenarios
- Develop marketing techniques for increased case acceptance
- Learn how to place dental implants using simple procedures
- Offer patients cost-effective implant placement and restoration

Level Two (Advanced) : A two-day course focusing on OCO Biomedical Dual Stabilization™ Dental Implants with live surgery. This advanced education course is for the experienced implant provider. Attendees have the opportunity to observe a live surgery on an active case as well as participate in hands-on training. Level One as a prerequisite is recommended.
Level Three (Advanced) : A two-day cadaver workshop focusing on the advanced techniques of implant dentistry. This educational opportunity combines an informative, in-depth lecture with clear-cut, defined hands-on surgical experiences utilizing anatomical models as well as fresh-frozen cadaver heads.
